Linitā Manu`atu is a migrant from the Kingdom of Tonga. She was a teacher of science, mathematics, economics, and English and Tongan languages to international migrants at Mount Roskill Grammar School for nine years. She has been a senior lecturer in education at AUT University for 10 years. Linitā teaches in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the School of Education and, supervises candidates in AUT University’s master’s and doctoral programmes.
